Behold the white feather
awarded to The Kud for
desertion in the face of
deep powder and even
deeper T-bars.
Just returned to-day from snowy Serfaus in Austria, where a fine time was had by several members and guests of WDSC Y2K on the annual school trip.
The snow conditions were excellent and two superb, sunny days enabled most of us to take advantage of the huge dumps of powder. Personal thanks must go to Andy "El Cappuccino" Price's weather station ski suit, which failed to forecast the fabulous sunny weather on Saturday (24/02/01) and allowed me to have another great day's skiing.
Commiserations to Steve "The Scud" Kudrycz, who went AWOL on Friday, thus missing one of our best day's in a long time. We all appreciated the schnapps bought with his fines.
The appearance of three ravishing beauties on this year's trip, lowered the average age to below 50 and took some of the heat off Andy re his girlie car, his new ski suit (complete with weather station) and his penchant for coffee stops. The return to the fold of The Jolly Man was much appreciated by all.
As my pseudonyms now run into the thousands, I'd just like to thank those who urged me on to lesser things with the old Jackson Hole warcry of " Goooooooooo....Moooooose!".
Best wishes to Lee Riley for a speedy recovery from his broken leg.
More to follow with photos of Andy's new kit and West Derby's answer to the Beverly Sisters.
